How long is a family session?

The minimum time for a session is 2 hours. This way the session does not feel rushed and it will leave plenty of time to shoot different images e.g. single portraits, siblings together, group shot etc.

How about a content shoot?

Content shoots are booked for a minimum of 2 hours.

What to wear to a session?

My number 1 rule is always “dress comfortably” Newly bought clothes for the kids might look nice but tight new shoes and itchy clothes won’t make the kids happy and it will show. 

Please avoid big logos/characters on clothing as it will be distracting.

Colour coordination between family members is always nice for unity but not a must. 

Where does a session take place?

We can discuss any location that you have in mind. Documentary style sessions are often in the comfort of your own home. Otherwise sessions are often held in a garden/park as the kids can run freely and enjoy. 

How will I receive the images?

You will be send a private online gallery from which you can choose your pictures.

How long until I receive the images?

I strive to deliver the images within 2 weeks. If there is a rush, please let me know in advance.

Do you photograph events?

I don’t photograph birthday parties but I am available to photograph other milestones like a baptism or “back to school”.

Do I pay a deposit?

At the moment I do not ask for a deposit. You will pay in full once you have received your online gallery. The watermark will be removed once the invoice is paid.

What if I want all the images from the session?

If you would like to have all the images you can do so for an extra charge.

Where can I get my pictures printed?

There is a photo lab attached to your online gallery from which you can order prints directly. I can also order prints on special paper, diamond dusted prints by a “glitter artist” or a folio box with 10 photos. Don’t hesitate to reach out.

How far in advance do I need to book a session?

As family sessions often take place on the weekends the sooner the better. Autumn and spring are the busiest periods. I try to only book one session per day but shoots do move around a lot due to weather or kids with runny noses so sometimes I will do multiple shoots in a day and your preferred time might not be available.

Are the photos kept private?

I understand if you prefer that the images of your session will not be used on social media or my website. In that case, simply let me know.

Can I buy a gift certificate?

Gift certificates are available for purchase and valid for 1 year. Please contact me to discuss the options.
